Job Description

Support Worker
Swansea
Full Time

We are working with a valued Swansea based client who are currently recruiting a Support Worker on a permanent full-time basis.

The service provides support to adults with Learning Disabilities and complex care needs. Whilst you will be giving physical support to individuals, you will also be providing them with emotional support and being their friend! You will support people to be more independent, confident, and skilled as individuals and help them to organise and control the things that matter to them.

Within this role you will also be supporting them to complete their daily living tasks, such as mean preparations and housekeeping. Assisting and managing their individual tenancy agreements.

You will assist with any attendance required at health appointments, and administer any medication as required. You will also support people to take part in a wide range of activities relating to special interests that support their health and wellbeing, and in doing so, they assist the development and maintaining of friendships.
