Job Description

BS Social Care are currently recruiting for temporary support workers for a residential home catering for adults with learning disabilities based in Hemel Hempstead.

About the role; this role will require manual handling, and personal care, meaning that you will not be afraid to deliver physical care and get stuck in. You will be working with adults who have moderate to severe Learning Difficulties, Epilepsy and challenging behaviour. You will be responsible for supporting the service users get up washed, dressed and get ready for day centre, shopping or activities. You will complete paper work and keep care plans up to date. You will assist in picking them up from the day centre and providing personal and helping with dinner, then get ready for the evening. This role is very hands on due to the service users needing physical support with personal care and meals to ensure they have the best quality of life possible.
