Calling all Support workers!

I am working on behalf of a well-established organization whom has over 35 years` experience in delivering excellent mental health and social care services. This organization has immediate start dates available on a temporary basis within the Bedlington Area. We are looking to recruit support professionals to assist weekly at this particular service.


Within this role you will providing support to numerous service users with various specific needs suffering with mental health. Ranging from schizophrenia, depression, anxiety and bi polar disorder. The service very much promotes independent living with the exception of cooking one meal per day by the staff and you will be required to carry out some domestic duties, such as cooking and cleaning especially on the weekend. You will be responsible for providing the correct care/ assistance and support daily whilst upholding all the correct policies and procedures on site. This service is for people aged over 18 years old who are living in Newcastle.

Ideal requirements:
" 6 months min experience working within health and social care
" Medication trained
" DBS on the update service preferred
" References covering 2 years
" NVQ 2 or 3 in health and social care preferable
Personality Preference:
" Caring and understanding personality
" Good communication skills
" Good numeracy and literacy skills
" Ability to use own initiative
" Self-direction


Shift work- Days, evenings, sleeps and nights. Times range from 7am-9pm starts.
