Support Worker

£9.15 - £10.20 per hour

BS Social Care are looking for Support Workers to join a friendly team based in the Cambridge area. The team works with young adults aged 18-30 years who have highly complex and severe learning difficulties. These may be as a result of conditions such as cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury, degenerative conditions or autism requiring a specialist approach.

Your Duties:

As a Support Worker, you will assist with the daily care needs of the service users, ensuring that their complex care needs are always met. You will promote dignity and independence with the ultimate goal of empowering the young adults to grow in their own unique and inspiring way. Due to the complex needs of the service users, this role will involve personal care although full training will be provided.

Shifts are varied and include day shifts and night shifts, but you will get every other weekend off.

You must be caring, ambitious, collaborative, trustworthy and innovative.
You will need to be flexible.
You must be a driver with access to your own vehicle.
Experience is desirable but not essential.
