Do you care for individuals, using a person-centred approach that meets the need and wishes of service users with learning disabilities to provide practical help, care, and support to individuals, to support them to live as independently as possible?
This role would give you the security of a permanent job and all benefits that comes with it but also the flexibility around your own time. May or not include a range of activities and duties over a 24-hour period (shifts can including waking nights, sleep-in shifts, weekends, and unsociable hours). All shifts are on a rota basis.
Balancing the independence of vulnerable clients with the need to protect them from harm.
Safeguarding client confidentiality whilst seeking to promote their rights and interests and public image within the community.
Undertaking domestic duties with the clients/the service e.g
Administering prescribed medication, according to the medication policy and as per the service users individual care plan.
Actively empowering clients to gain and maintain control over all aspects of their lives.
You could gain a qualification trough us, but it would be great if you already have Care Certificate or QCF/NVQ level 2/3 Health & Social Care, or equivalent. A driving license and own car would be beneficial.

Extra 50p an hour for any weekend hours.
Time and a half for any bank holiday hours worked.
25p per mile paid for mileage.
