Job title: Support Worker/HCA/Care Assistant
Location: Burnham-on-Sea
Pay rate: £9 - £10 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary

We are looking for dedicated and committed support workers to join a highly reputable organisation at one of their various residential homes for adults with learning disabilities in the Burnham-on-Sea area. Each home and service prides themselves on being well run, fun and energetic and this reflected consistently in their reports.

Our client supports 9 people with mental health needs or whom have dual diagnosis. Their goal is to help people build their future and increase personal empowerment with a personal approach. Also some of the service users can display challenging behaviours so the ideal candidate is someone resilient and compassionate who enjoys a challenge!

What we'll need from you:
- Support vulnerable people with shopping, cleaning, laundry and budgeting
- Maintaining the smooth running of the home
- Helping vulnerable individuals engage in their planned activities around the home
- A minimum of 1 year's relevant experience supporting in care.
- Driver preferred but not essential
