We are currently recruiting for an Autism, Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs service based in LS10, for the role of a Support Worker.

Your role will be to provide person centred care, enabling service users to enjoy a fulfilling and valued life. You will be expected to help with social skills and relationships, personal care & hygiene, daily living skills, managing money, social, leisure and work activities.

This is a Full Time position (37.5 hours) including evenings, weekends and sleep ins.

NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care is desired, but not essential. All employees will be required to undertake Level 2 or 3 Health & Social Care Diploma in a pathway relevant to the role whilst working. If you already hold these qualifications, the client may support you to undertake higher education.

To be considered for this role, you MUST meet the following criteria:

A minimum of 1 year's experience providing care and support to people with learning disabilities
Enhanced DBS on the update service
Ability to provide 3 year's worth of references
Experience using hoists
Full UK Driving License

The pay rate will be £8.25 - £8.35 per hour, with 50p per hour increase for Waking Nights.
