£8.72 per hour. Sleep in shifts paid at £30.90 per sleep-in (Top up paid based on how may over month to ensure not paid less than min wage)

We have exciting opportunities for experienced passionate and creative Support workers to join our clients teams working across the Wells and Wookey areas of East Mendip, supporting adults with a learning disabilities and Autism to live a fulfilled, happy and safe life.

Our Client support people living in their own homes across a variety of different hours during the week, from just a few hours a day to people who need support across 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

You will be supporting people both in their own homes with meal preparation, personal care, planning and household tasks and ensuring people have the opportunity to access their local and wider community by supporting with travel training, keeping safe, social and leisure activities and groups.

Your role will be to ensure the people we support are living their best life, making their own choices and working towards their goals and aspirations, as part of person centred and flexible support.

Previous experience for this role is essential.
You will need to be able to work flexibly across a 7 - day rota to include early mornings starting at 7am, evenings finishing at 10pm, bank holidays, and weekends. In addition sleep-in shifts are required as part of this working rota.

Being a driver, with access to a car for work purposes, is essential for this role as you will be required to work across all areas of East Mendip. Where travelling between shifts, and dependent on location and base, mileage may be paid at 0.43p per mile.
