BS Social Care are recruiting for an established and respected care providers to find a Support Worker to work with services across West Sussex.
We are looking to recruit passionate and dedicated individuals, who want to make a difference in the lives of some of vulnerable Adults and young people in our society who have experienced neglect, homelessness, drug and alcohol substance misuse. You will be also supporting clients with learning disabilities, mental health conditions and challenging behaviour.
Providing 1-1 support to Service users giving the best possible care, in a home from home environment.
Support and encourage clients express themselves and live as independently as possible.
Demonstrate to the service users the value of education, care and development.
Build and create mutual trust and respect with clients so that they respond and react appropriately to information and advice.
Define structures and boundaries of behaviour to clients, acting as a positive role model, so they understand daily routines expected.
Provide care and support to clients to encompass all of their physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual and social needs.
We are looking for individuals who:
Have a Level 3 Diploma (or NVQ equivalent) in Health and Social Care
A Passion for working with Adults and young people
A Good team player
Excellent communication skills
A willingness to learn and adapt
Flexibility to work long days, waking nights and sleep in shifts
