Job Description
*Supported living manager*
*Full time - permanent - 37.5 hours a week - Monday - Friday*
*Carmarthen*
*£25,000 - £30,000*
We are working with a fantastic award-winning client who are looking for a manager to join a supported living service in Carmarthen. If you are looking to join a company who knows by ensuring that the staff are happy and looked after, this will have a positive impact on the care and support individuals using the service receive. This is a full-time position of 37.5 hours a week Monday - Friday. This role is ideally suited to someone who is aiming to enhance their career in leadership and who has demonstrable experience in supervising others within a residential care environment. We would be interested in speaking to individuals who have experience working within a similar environment. As a manager, you will be based at one of our client's services with the responsibility for management of day-to-day operations.

The role
- You will be fulfilling registration requirements and performance standards required by the CIW
- You'll complete assessments for the people we support, support plans and risk assessments.
- To Deliver a high standard of support services for the people we support
- Ensure high standards and best practices are always maintained
- You'll support, develop, and manage support staff within your service area
- Ensure all records are maintained
- To provide leadership and consultation within your team
- You'll work with our recruitment team
- You will complete, maintain, and submit reports and records to regulating bodies as required
- To manage the rota coordination team to supply timely rotas for staff
- Hold regular staff and management meetings
- You will promote the rights of each person we support and keep their wishes at the centre of their care and support
- You'll ensure all staff in your service are equipped with the right skills, experience and training
- To work with the on call system
The ideal candidate
- You will be an experienced, driven, and passionate individual with experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs
- You'll have achieved a minimum of a QCF level 4
- Have previous experience of working in a management role
- You will have strong IT skills
- You'll be a confident and reliable individual who strives for success
