Job Title: Supported Living Manager (Learning disabilities and complex behaviours)
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £28000-£30000
Hours: Full time, working 5 days over 7 (due to the nature of the role, weekend working will be required on a rota basis.)

The client:
In collaboration with an established, recognised, and growing provider of care and support for adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs and/or complex behaviours, I am seeking a supported living manager to join an established team in one of their Birmingham services. You will join a highly person-centred provider in one of their flagship services, and truly make a difference to the lives of the people you support.

The Job:
Employed on a full-time basis, working 5 days over 7, you will become a pivotal member of the management team. You will be a positive role model, a champion of person-centred care and support and someone who is committed to promoting choice, dignity, and independence.

Key Responsibilities and duties will include:
" Ensure the highest quality and standards of care are adhered, including risk assessments, support plans and person-centred plans
" Oversee the production of rotas and staff allocation
" Build good relationships with external agencies, including commissioners, families, carers, health care professionals and the wider community
" Deliver personal care and positive behaviour support as required
" Participate in the on-call rota system as required
" Staff management including recruitment, performance management, staff training and supervisions

Skills & Experience requirements:
" NVQ level 3 or 4 in health and social care (or working towards this)
" Experience of supporting people with learning disabilities and/or a mental health diagnosis
" An understanding and experience challenging behaviour and positive behaviour support
" Team leading or supervisory experience in a similar setting
" Full driving licence and own transport
