We are working with a well established client, who are looking to appoint a Senior Manager for their supported living services providing care to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
The working days are Monday to Friday totalling 40 hours and will be working from the office in Exeter, however will be required to travel to services located in Exeter, Exmouth, Dawlish, Okehampton and Crediton. The role will be to provide coaching and training as well as some operational management to the supported living services.
You will be required to monitor each of the service and report any concerns or issues to the Head of Supported Living and work on action plans to manage any risks and ensure continuous improvement. You will follow all company policies and procedures paying attention to customer service standards, health and safety as well as equality and diversity.
You will be responsible for ensuring the service is compliant in all areas, with the goal to receive Outstanding in every CQC domain. Ensuring that all staff are recruited appropriately, receiving training and coaching.
The ideal candidate will have a breadth of knowledge in supported living and be an expert in the supported living sector. With the ability to set goals and targets over a medium to long term basis. Have the ability to evaluate situations and foresee any problems and selects effective solutions, taking into account several likely causes of events or consequences of actions.
There may be requirements to work evenings and weekends, as well as some overnight stays.
In order to qualify for the role we are looking for:
- QCF level 5 (or equivalent)
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of care legislation and safeguarding
- A full valid UK driving licence
- Hold excellent IT skills and the capabilities of writing reports to a high standard
