Position: Service Manager Location: Ilford
Details: Full time,
Permanent, 37.5 hours
Salary: Paying up to £35,000 dependent on experience

I am currently working in partnership with a client who is looking for an extraordinary manager with a commitment to high quality support and focus on personalisation to join the team as a Registered Service Manager for their Ilford supported living services . This individual will be required work between 2 to 3 services which will consist of 4 to 6 clients.

You will need to have an NVQ Level 5 in Care and Management and experience of working with Individuals with challenging behaviour and mental health needs. You`ll be passionate about providing quality care and personalised services with the ability to drive improvement within budgetary controls. An understanding and knowledge of the principles of positive behaviour support, relevant legislation and CQC standards will be essential for this role.

o Managing professional, clerical and administrative staff.
o Planning and implementing strategic changes to improve service delivery.
o Overseeing the day-to-day management of our organisation, a specific unit or a service area.
o Implementing new policies and directives.
o Acting as the primary point of contact for care arrangements in respect of designated service users, working in accordance with agreed joint policies and procedures.
o Managing the recruitment, selection, appraisal and development of staff;
o Producing care plans and ensuring their effective implementation.
