08:30 - 16:30 - 40 Hours per week

Are you an experienced teaching assistant looking for a new challenge within a high demanding role? Then this is the role for you.

My client is currently looking for experienced teaching assistants to join their residential specialist school based in the Stockport area. This will be a more senior teaching assistant role as you will be confident in giving full directions, You will be working more on a 1:1 basis with the students working more towards there Literacy, Numeracy, and looking after their behaviour. You will also be required to lead classes where needed if any teachers were off or had to miss a class then you will be required to take that class so you must be confident in your ability and be able to take a class.

You must have experience within a similar role working with students who have Learning disabilities, Autism, Mental health and be able to make a real difference for them. My client is requiring you to have a minimum LVL 2 in teaching assistance if you have a LVL 3 with would be a big advantage. My client has also stated that you would need to be a driver as sometime you may be required to take some children out on trips or out the school grounds.
