I am currently working with a large national provider that is seeking experienced TEAM LEADERS for their residential and supported living services for adults with learning and physical disabilities, in and around the WEST MIDLANDS region.
Your key duties will consist of the following but not be limited to;
o Delivering a person centre approach and to ensure the high standards that are already set continue
o Support the Service Manager to ensure that staff are trained to meet the needs of the people we support and their training complies with CQC.
o To participate in the day-to-day implementation of individual support plans and activities within a challenging environment.
o To maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families and other whilst respecting appropriate confidentiality.
o To support service users with the preparation of meals, laundry duties, cleaning and social events.
To be successful within this role you should have the following;
o Have 12 months experience in a care setting
o NVQ 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
o Excellent communication skills and proven experience supporting adults with learning disabilities
* Flexibility to work a varied shift pattern, including weekends on a rota basis
