Role: Team Leader
Start Date: ASAP
I am recruiting for an amazing charity who enables people to live independently and to live the life they want to lead. The team you'll be supporting will key in breaking down the barriers preventing independence. You'll live and breathe the core values on enabling, inclusivitiy and courageousness.
You'll be working with an existing team and inducting new staff on guiding team to promote inclusion, by identifying and discussing employment and leisure opportunities with the people you and your team support.
The duties of the job will include:
Making sure the rotas are organised
Ensuring care plans, accident/incident, safeguarding, and other records are maintained and kept up to date.
Ensuring the finances relating to the services and if required support the people with their finances
To work on shift when required, providing direct support to the people we support.
You'll do this by
Provide direct supervision to your team, through coaching and mentoring of staff.
Supporting and leading staff in writing, implementing, reviewing support and risk plans.
Work with the Team identifying any staff training needs and plan to meet these in with your line manager.
