My client is looking for a dedicated, hardworking individual who will be assisting the operations manager with the day to day-to-day running of the awareness providing direct line management, day to day support, guidance and an awareness response within the team.
Adopting a proactive approach to achieving a positive, engaging and promotional role with service users, local authorities and ensuring good joint working practices are established and maintained with all relevant parties.
My client helps and support young people who faced homelessness. Helping them with every day struggles and helping and guiding them with life skills.
- You will be responsible for the line management of advice and support officers and engagement officers, apprentices, volunteers and work placement students.
- To ensure quality of practice and contract compliance.
- Leading and support practice development within the team, while providing coaching, guidance and mentoring to team members.
- To demonstrate best practise maintaining direct contact and involvement with service users by managing agreed caseload, delivering direct support services in accordance with contractual requirements policy and procedure.
The ideal candidate will have an NVQ level 3 (or above) or equivalent qualifications and willingness to work towards a management qualification.
2 years' experience of providing support services to young people. experience of supervising volunteers, students or other unpaid workers within s local authority, voluntary or social enterprise sector working with young people
An awareness of the commissioning progress and requirements. Knowledge of benefits and relevant legislation affecting young homeless people.
