Forest of Dean
£21,625

Here at BS Social Care we have an incredibly exciting opportunity with a reputable charity and care provider in the Forest of Dean. Our client is looking for a Level 3 qualified Team Leader to join their friendly team!

Our client offers care and support to adults with learning difficulties. Our client's approach to care is holistic and their service is set in beautiful rural countryside. Our client provides care and support, promotes independence, enables potential and encourages purpose. Offering meaningful activities such as craftwork and outdoor activities on their farm, our client enables their residents to live happy and fruitful lives, whilst providing the right opportunities so that residents can realise their potential.

As a Team Leader, you will report directly to the Service Manager. You will organise and deliver support and care to tenants (and other people using the services) to support tenants to fulfil their potential for independence, choice, inclusion and control. You will assist with all aspects involved in delivering care in a supported living setting to adults with learning difficulties and other complex needs.

About you:

You will have a QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
You will have experience of working in care, preferably with adults with learning difficulties
You will be a driver with access to a vehicle
You will have supervisory/management experience
You must be caring, empathetic and must endorse the client's values to promote independence and to encourage opportunities that enable residents to realist their potential
You must be flexible
