Job Description

Team leader required to join an established care provider within their residential care services for adults with learning disabilities in the Shrewsbury region. You will focus on supporting adults with learning disabilities, specifically an autism diagnosis, to live an independent, fulfilling lifestyle.

As team leader, you will work closely with an established management team to deliver high quality care and support. You will be involved in the day to day running of a residential service for clients with a learning disability diagnosis and actively lead a team of support workers to promote independence. This job role will allow you to utilise your already, excellent CQC knowledge.

To apply for this vacancy, you will be able to demonstrate a proven background supporting adults with learning disabilities. Ideally your experience will be within residential care and support.

An NVQ level 3 in health and social care or willingness to work towards this qualification is required , as is a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Your application must highlight proven shift/team leading experience and must outline your understanding of all CQC policies and procedures.
