Job Description

Children`s Home Team Leader.

Oldham.

40 Hours per week.

6 week rota given working on a shift pattern - roughly 5-6 sleeps per month.

£10 - £11.50 per hour

Are you an experienced Team-Leader / Senior Support Worker with a background working in Children`s Residential or with Looked-After Children?

Have you got exceptional leadership skills, great communication and a genuinely child-focused approach to your work?

We are looking for a talented and articulate individual to lead a fantastic team in a flagship children`s home based in Oldham.

You will be joining a truly caring organisation with family-owned roots that ensure that their family values run through the heart of everything they do.

As such you will be supporting children and leading a team who are more than just your co-workers, more like an extension of your family. It is essential that you have the personality and knowledge to step into this role and hit the ground running, with a well-established and closely knit team.  This role would be perfect for a confident, enthusiastic and passionate person with a real drive for delivering high standards of care and performance.

In return for your ability and experience you will be rewarded with very competitive starting salary paid hourly between £10 - £11.50 per hour alongside being provided with ongoing opportunities for professional development, training, education and progression to management.

This is a role which comes with a high level of responsibility as you will be in sole charge of the home, the staff and the children in the absence of the deputy or registered manager - therefore this is a great opportunity to learn on the job the skills required to step into a deputy manager role as your career progresses.

If you or anyone you know would be perfect for this role then please send your CV to Nathan / or call me for a chat on 0161 228 6168.
