Job Description
I am actively seeking a skilled, compassionate child centred TEAM LEADER to join a lovely and supportive children's service in GRANTHAM, LINCOLNSHIRE, whichever is closer or more convenient for you. Both services provide essential and valuable care to children and young people aged 8 to 17 years who have complex, mental health and EBD needs.
You will become a pivotal part of an established, care focussed organisation who is committed to making a difference to the lives of the young people they support. A forward-thinking organisation, this is reflected in their work practices, training and professional development.
Working closely with the registered and deputy manager, and effectively leading a team of care and support staff, you will deliver care and support in line with both OFSTED and company guidelines. You will provide a nurturing and therapeutic environment which fosters emotional, social and physical wellbeing and development.
Within your role as a TEAM LEADER, you will lead shifts and offer direct support to the staff team. Staff supervisions, report writing, care and support planning and behaviour management are all a key part of the senior support worker role.
Your extensive knowledge, skills and experience will be rewarded with a highly competitive salary and sleep in allowance, as well as a generous annual leave allowance and continued training and development. Genuine career progression opportunities are also available within this market leading organisation.
For your support and commitment, you will paid a salary of £20,000 to £22,000 a year plus a SLEEP IN ALLOWANCE of £35.00 per sleep which can take your salary up by £4200 giving you a salary of between £22,696 to £24,444.
You will also get a holiday allowance and pension plan, as well as career development and the opportunity to complete your NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management.
To be successful within this role you must have at least 12 months experience in children's services and hold your QCF level 3 in children's residential or have an equivalent.
