Job Description

I am working in partnership with a specialist provider of care and support for adults and young people, to recruit an EXCEPTIONAL team leader who will be based within their purpose built and homely residential setting in COVENTRY.

This is a full time role, which will require the successful team leader to work a varied shift pattern on a rolling rota. In addition, 8 hours will be spent offering supernumerary guidance and support.

You will work closely with the management team to provide an environment which is safe and enabling and provides positive experiences for the young people who live here.

You will also play a key role in the development of of keys skills and the promotion of independence. By being a great role model, you will enhance the development and skills needed on a personal level as the young people you support move towards adult life.

Due to the nature of this role, flexibility is required to work a varied shift pattern on a rota basis and share the on call rota.

To be considered, all team leader applicants MUST:

* Be qualified to level 3 in health and social for children and young people`s services or equivalent

* Demonstrate a proven background in residential settings for children and young people with learning disabilities and complex needs

* Be competent and experienced in the administration of medication

* Have experience of leading and mentoring a team
