Job Description

We are looking for someone that has experience working with Children and Young people that would be looking for a role to lead and manage a team. You will be the team leader of a 4 bedded service in Heaton Mersey, Stockport. The service supports children that require support with emotional, behavioural difficulties.

You will be working for an organisation that provides exceptional care and specialist placement options. They look after their staff and work on high staffing ratios to ensure the people they support are given the best care possible but also their staff are happy and safe.

You will be working closely with the deputy and registered manager of the service and leading the home in their absence. You will be making sure the team are providing the correct care and support to ensure the children's needs are being meet and the home meets the standards set in the statement of purpose. You will need to always be clear and actively striving to achieve the best outcomes for the young people.

As a senior member of the team you will need to have had experience working with Children in a residential setting. You will need to have completed your NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People. You will also need to be a driver with access to your own car. You will also need to be confident to manage a team and give direction to the team. You will also be involved with new starters inductions and the support workers own personal development plant.

You will be paid a salary of £24,266 per annum. You will work a 2:4 shift pattern. Pattern works two on four off, each shift followed by a sleep.
