A brand-new opportunity has arisen for a full-time temporary Housing Support Officer based in Preston!

Working for a charitable organisation, you will be responsible for supporting adults with varied complex needs including mental health, anxiety, learning disabilities, substance misuse issues or general debt related issues.

You will be located at the main office in Preston, however part of your role will include visiting the properties in Preston and across South Ribble.

You will be responsible for supporting at the properties with all aspects including inspections, supporting with rent issues, finances, property maintenance and repairs as well as general welfare and safeguarding.

The role is a full-time position, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, however there is potential for a job share for suitable candidates.

Suitable candidates must have experience of supporting vulnerable adults with various complex needs and must hold a valid UK driving licence with access to own vehicle. Although it is not essential, it would be advantageous if you have a background in housing or homelessness, accommodation or working in supported housing with a knowledge of tenancy support.

Salary £9/ hour, travel expenses will be paid 45p/ mile and all training will be provided.
