We are currently recruiting for a well established company which aims to deliver support to children and young people with traumatic backgrounds by delivery a home life and educational support.

The role of the therapeutic care worker is to support within a home of 4 young people aged 11-18 years of age with traumatic backgrounds. You will be hands on support, engaging with them, supporting in activities, driving them to and from school and supporting with day to day duties. The service aim is to make this feel like a home and that you are a family unit in professional manner. This role is part time 16 hours a week starting out temporary with a view to go permanent.

We are looking for empathetic, passionate and caring people who can deliver a high level of emotional support to these young people.

Essential:

• Experience in social care, specifically with young people
• Level 3 in CCYP residential
• Driver- business insurance

Desirable

• DBS on the update service
