Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Therapeutic Parent to work within a Residential service supporting Children and Young People who present mental health needs and EBD.

You will be working for a organisation that provides specialist therapeutic homes and support to Children and Young People that have experienced trauma working through a recovery programme aged between 4 - 12 years old.

As a Residential Support Worker your duties will include constant supervisions of the boys, managing extreme challenging behaviour, encouraging their behavioural development, working alongside MDT and completing outcome reports and progress logs. You will oversee with internet access and you must follow a strict supervised routine.

We are looking for a highly resilient, assertive, motivated individual with the ability to work under pressure. Ideally you will be a strong character who can uphold certain routines and guidelines, you must be reliable and be a trustworthy individual as confidentiality is key within this role.

The successful candidate will have experience working within a residential home for Children and Young People, have experience managing challenging behaviour and ideally hold a Diploma in Level 3 Children and Young People. Full UK Driving License is essential.

This is a full time position with a excellent salary of £16,500 - £19,000 plus exciting personal and professional development and training opportunities.
