Our client, a reputable elderly care provider in the Wiltshire area, is looking for a fantastic candidate to join their friendly and small team. As a Training Manager, you will be required to manage the home's training provision, including identification of training needs and the development and delivery of training courses and workshops, and to ensure that the training provided supports the aims and objectives of the home.

Your duties and responsibilities will include, not are not exclusive to, supporting the Manager and Deputy Manager in all aspects of the Home's management. You will be responsible for teaching, training and working by example with all members of staff in all aspects of their work within the Home, including the Formal Induction Programme. You will ensure that you and all other staff meet the personal care needs of residents in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence.

As a Training Manager you will liaise with Directors, Managers, Training Administrator with formulation of internal and external training courses and will act as a QCF Training mentor. You will complete staff annual performance reviews within required deadlines including medication updates and annual review.

The ideal candidate will have:

An NVQ Level 3 in Care
An Assessors Award
Have a good knowledge of policies and procedures
Manual Handling Trainer
A competent level of administration skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to motivate, support and supervise the staff team.

The hours of this role are flexible and involve working alternate weekends.
