Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate, committed and dedicated Waking Night Support Worker to join a well-established organisation in the delivery of multiple Children Learning Disability Residential homes, in the East Lancashire area.

You will be working for an excellent provider in Children Learning Disabilities who support children and young people with profound learning disabilities and complex needs. You will be joining the group at a very exciting time of growth and expansion, which could lead to future progression and development opportunities.

As the Support Worker you will be supporting with personal care, support with daily living, managing finances, maintaining relationships, supporting social/community involvement, supporting education & employment and undertaking activities and holidays.

You will be able to demonstrate good organisation skills, leadership, communication skills and a willingness to work closely with the young people and the team to ensure the effective and smooth running of the Service.

The successful candidate will ideally hold relevant experience in the Social Care fields. You will have experience supporting learning disabilities and/or complex situations and have the ability to motivate and develop individuals and you must be flexible to meet the service needs. Non-drivers can be considered for the Waking Night position.

This is a full-time position with a starting salary of £20,748 in addition to excellent benefits, progression, and developments. Further benefits include 5.6 weeks annual leave, pension scheme contributions, thank you bonuses and continuing professional development opportunities.
