Job Description

A well established Education and Residential Children Services are recruiting for Waking Night Support Workers across 6 residential Children`s home near Clifton Down, Bristol. The homes are 4 - 8 bedded homes based on a large complex supporting children & young people between the ages of 5 - 19 year olds who have various needs such as anxiety, autism, complex needs, depression, physical disabilities, PMLD and SEN who will display challenging behaviour.

Main Job Role:
- Support with morning and bedtime routines
- Cleaning and prep through the night
- Being on hand if children wake up
- Paperwork / admin duties
- Ensuring safety and wellbeing of children throughout the night
- Implementing PRICE model of positive behaviour support
- Personal care maybe required

Qualifying candidates:
- Must have life, paid, personal or voluntary experience with children or young adults with challenging behaviour or learning / physical disabilities or SEN
- Must be 21 years old or over
- To get the higher end of the salary, you MUST have a qualification to work in children residential care home. We accept the following qualifications: Diploma / NVQ / QCF level 3 in:
* Children & Young People`s Workforce
* Health & Social Care in Children
* Health & Social Care in Social Care Pathway
* Caring for children & young people
* Residential childcare
WE DO NOT accept Health and social care in Adults.

Contract / Terms:
- Salary is £15,459 - £22,651 per annum = £9.91 - £10.89 an hour (£8.41 - £9.39 an hour + £15 for each shift completed)
- Shifts will be 10pm till 8am
- Full / part time 30 - 40 hours a week between Mondays to Friday plus alternative weekends
