Waking Night Support Worker
Burnham On Sea
Part Time - 18.5 hours

We are working with a long standing client for their service in Burnham On Sea, that provides support to Adults with Autism.

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will be expected to remain awake throughout the night shift and be fully available to attend the individual needs of the person to help them have a restful night.

Complete delegated responsibilities as part of nightly routine after priority has been given to the needs of those you will be supporting. These tasks can include for example completing tasks day staff have been unable to complete, administration, H&S checks, laundry, completing handover sheets and communication sheets.

Ensure the home is promoting a restful night's sleep ensuring the levels of noise and light and suitable for the person(s) you support and identify any changes that need to be made such as noisy floorboards, plumbing and buzzer alarm systems etc.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting those with Autism or Learning Disabilities.
