Job Description

Are you looking for a brilliant new temp to perm role in the Leeds Area? Do you have experience working with Children & Young People in a residential setting? If so, please carry on reading and apply now!

Our client is based in Leeds and have specialist experience of complex young people, managing transitions from hospitals and secure settings into the community.

You will be working with young people transitioning into adulthood. The service users will be aged up to 25 in both residential care settings and community placements. Your hours of work will average out to 38.5 hours per week a year, with a mixture of shift patterns on a rota and are waking nights.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

- An up to date enhanced DBS on the update service or alternatively be willing to pay £50 at the point of registration for a new valid enhanced DBS.
- A full UK Driving License with access to your own vehicle (desirable)
- Able to provide full work history with a minimum of 5 years references - including your most recent employer.

You must have previous experience with Children & Young People - we ask for a minimum of 12 months paid experience or alternatively 6 months paid experience with a Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care. Please do not apply if you have no relevant experience, as due to the nature of the role we require experienced support workers only.

You will be paid a generous £8.75 - £9.00 per hour, with holiday to accrue.
