Job Description

** Brand New Support Worker **
** Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire **
** Permanent and full time **
** Driver is preffered but not essential **
** 37.5hrs hours per week **
** £17,550 / £9ph **
** 9:15 pm - 7:15 AM **
** Adults with Epilepsy/ Cerebral Palsy/ communication problems/ Autism/ mobility issues **

BS Social Care are currently recruiting for Waking Night Support Workers who have experience supporting adults with varied and complex learning disabilities. We are working with a residential home based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.

The charity that we are partnering with is a nationally recognised charity that has a long history of helping to support people with complex needs such as Cerebral Palsy, learning disabilities and autism. They create personalised and care plans of care that are unique to each individual. They are looking for people who share their passion for care and can help them provide a welcoming and happy environment for their residents.

The role will require manual handling and personal care, this means the role will require you to be able to get involved and help the patients whenever needed. You will be working with adults who have mild to severe Learning Difficulties and challenging behaviours.

Your duties will include:
- Writing reports

- Being ready should the residents need your assistance

- Keeping vigilant and awake throughout the night

- Completing the handover at the beginning and end of your shift


FULL TRAINING WILL BE GIVEN

We our looking for candidates who are able to embrace and match the values of the organisation and has a passion for helping people. You must be empathetic and compassionate towards others. While it is not essential, a driver is preferable.
