This role is part time, 15 hours per week



The role involves delivering sessions to support women who are victims/survivors of domestic abuse. It is important that the women's programme facilitator supports and is flexible to deliver the training needs of women and has knowledge and understanding of victims of domestic abuse and working with 'adults at risk'.

To work under the direction and supervision of our existing Lead Training Officer to grow our women's training programme.
To deliver sessions to service users e.g. Freedom programme, Power to change, Dolphin Programme and Peer mentoring.
To deliver an agreed course of materials on an individual or group basis as outlined by the Lead Training Officer.
To build a woman's confidence and self-esteem whilst empowering them to make positive choices in a safe, friendly and non-judgemental environment.
To work closely with the Haven Wolverhampton accommodation and community workers to refer a woman or share information for support if needed.
To check and assess Service Users contribution and give feedback.
To achieve the required quality targets as set by the Lead Training Officer and determined by delegate evaluations.
To keep abreast of updates, research and developments to ensure knowledge is kept up to date.
To deliver accredited courses as required and mark portfolios and assignments where course/ training is accredited.
To contribute to funder reports, marketing, annual review, staff bulletin and impact report as required
