Women's Support Services Manager
Cardiff
£30,000 - £35,000
We have an exciting job opportunity for someone who is looking to make a real difference!
We are working with partnership with a wonderful organisation that exists to eradicate violence against women and girls and to support survivors.
This role is full time position, working 35 hours per week with on call duties when required.
*please note we due to nature of the service we can only accept applications from women*
As Services Manager you will have responsibility for the delivery and development of services for women and children. This includes the management and support of team managers and staff delivering these services, working to ensure that all services are delivered to a high standard and are within budget.
You will be responsible for the development, co-ordination, and delivery of identified support services according to the opportunities and service specification of the contracts commissioned and anticipate support service needs and gaps using proper leadership techniques and problem-solving methods.
Support the development of expertise within the organisation through effective monitoring of L&D with central services team and assist in the recruitment, selection and training of staff, contractors, and volunteers.
You will take responsibility for team rotas, monitor absence, plan and arrange short term/emergency cover/annual and sick leave. Managers will have their own area of responsibility but will be required to provide cover to other teams in the event of annual leave and sickness.

- Leadership and Management skills with a strong focus on diversity and inclusion. ( 2 years experience)
- Experience of managing a caseload
- Working with and supporting vulnerable people, including families or children.
