BS Social Care are looking to recruit for experienced and motivated hostel workers with flexibility to work sleeping shifts, days and weekends. This opportunity is to join our temporary staff team to work in a women`s refuge hostel. If you are in between roles or looking to develop your hostel experience, this position would be suitable.

The role includes updating daily logs, emotional support and guidance to residents, assisting with budgeting, room checking and helping with group activities.


The postholder will be approachable, confident and outgoing, with an emotional intelligence who can empathise with others. You will be a decision maker who can take control of situations and problem solve effectively.

Essential:
At least a years experience of hostel settings.
At least NVQ Level 2 in housing/health and social care/or a relevant qualification
DBS on the update service

Desirable:
Paid experience in domestic violence refuge and mental health settings and environments.

The pay rate for this role is £8.50 per hour with additional benefits, including double pay on bank holidays, accrued holiday pay, flexibility, reward and recognition including temp of the month awards and 24 hour support from professional consultants 365 days a year.
