BS Social Care Croydon is currently looking for young people support workers who have experience supporting adults with varied learning disabilities or mental health
We are working with a number of organisations in Kingston upon Thames, that provide supported living services, residential care homes, day centres and outreach programs for young people who have mild to complex needs. Our clients are looking for candidates who have a genuine passion to improve the lives of others.
As a recruiter of vulnerable people, we are interested in speaking with candidates who understand their responsibilities of providing a safe and supportive environment that seeks to promote independence where possible. You will be an experienced support worker, who understands person centred support and is able to adapt to the needs of your client. You will be able to read, understand and follow care/support plans. You will be experienced in managing and de-escalating challenging behaviours. You will have an understanding of assessing risks and safeguarding adults from harm.
