***CALLING ALL Young People's Drug and Alcohol Practitioners !!!!!!!!!***

My client is looking for an individual with a background in community and outreach care, working children and Young People's with Drug and Alcohol misuse.

Typical duties will consist of:
" Working with Children and young People's from ages of 5-18-year olds either using drugs and alcohol or affected by parental substance misuse.
" Protective behaviour work with young children
" Harm minimisation and psychological intervention
" One to one/family work/group work/attendance of multiagency meetings
" Telephone and Face to face interventions
" Working knowledge of Illy/Carepath desirable for data input however training will be provided.
" Must have direct experience working with young people in substance misuse field.
" Must have clean driving licence and access to own care as this post requires delivering support around BEDFORDSHIRE

About the role:

Salary: £20,000 to £23,420 dependent on experience
Locations: Bedfordshire Excluding Luton
Hours: 37.5hrs per week Mon-Fri

Candidate essentials:

- Must hold a valid driving license and own a car
- Experience in Community/Outreach support work
- Qualification - Degree Level or Children or Young People / with drug / alcohol
