Job Description

Are you looking for that sought after flexible working? Do you want a new challenge? Some variety in your day perhaps? I bet you also love a hands on role, able to travel around and not be anchored to the same four walls.

Recently, a new client I am working with have found that they are needing Support Workers just like you.

As an organisation, they work with young people who have had a difficult start to life; they may be leaving care, have complex family, or accommodation support needs, or come from another similar background that means they just need a little extra help and support to get the best out life.

They have recently had a young person come on board who needs someone to take them out each day to do activities within the community. This means that for you, every day will be different. You could be going on a trip to the cinema, you could be going swimming, adventure days.

Of course, you will have experience working with children and have a really good understanding of behavioural management, as well as building rapport with young people. You'll be empathetic by nature and support the independence of the young people you work with.

You'll have 6-12 months of care experience ideally caring for young people. Any additional training or qualifications (such as an NVQ level 3 working with children or young people) is beneficial, but really your experience and genuine love of helping others is what I want to hear about most.

You'll need to have a DBS, if you have one already and it's registered online - Amazing! If it isn't, don't worry because I will help you apply for one.

This role in temporary ongoing work at £10-£11p/h, you'll be paid weekly and you'll also accrue holiday pay every hour you work!

If you're ready for a role that can offer you flexibility and variety the I absolutely want to hear from you! You can apply here or you can call me on 01604448408 for a confidential, friendly chat. If you'd like to email me first, you can catch me at
