We are working on behalf of a client in the Taunton area who provides residential support to residents ages 65+ who have dementia are looking to recruit 2 part time activities coordinators.

You will be responsible for Enabling Resident's to maintain their well-being by ensuring that their social and leisure needs are met according to their individual care plans, habits and life styles. You will read care plans and keep these updated and pay particular attention to dietary needs/allergies/health needs.


You will support resident to complete their life stories. To contact families for their input as and when necessary and use photos when appropriate. You may also be required to participate in activities outside of the home to include accompanying to medical appointments.

To apply for this role we are looking for:

  • someone outgoing, friendly and enthusiastic
  • Have experience of working within the care sector (Ideally with older residents with dementia)
  • Someone who is proactive and has good organisational skills
  • Someone who is creative


Shift patterns:
Week 1 = 28 hours
Week 2 = 21 hours
