Job Description
We've got a great opportunity for a full- time long term temp role within the Southampton Courts, to join a fast-paced office, working as part of the admin team.
Overview:
- Full time 37 hrs per week
- Monday - Friday
- Temporary 3-month role
- Pay - £10.86ph
- Location - Southampton
- Start date ASAP
The successful candidate will provide customer service and administrative support. Court Admin Officer and relevant duties include -
"Administrative duties including process of applications, fee accounting and cashier duties.
" Processing correspondence processing orders, IT data input.
"Customer Service duties, telephone and post opening.
"Destruction of files as per the retention of Court Documents guidance.
" Meeting with contractors, cleaners, security, judiciary, and staff. Logging and escalating jobs on the IT portal.
" Good communication skills - both written and face to face. Organised with a "can do" approach to work.
" Work with colleagues to ensure that everyone (including Judiciary) is prepared for and understand the scope and impact of scheduled project works together with unplanned works.
" Comply with office standards - time keeping, dress code and customer service, etc
Typical qualifications and experience:
- 5 GCSE's at grade C or above or equivalent (including English Language or equivalent)
- NVQ Business Administration Level 2 (or suitable clerical experience)
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- All offers are subject to 3 years of referencing checks and a DBS.
