Job Description

We are looking for someone who wants to assist children and young adults to gain more independence.

The project is a fully inclusive before and after school facility mainly catering to children and young people with Autism, learning difficulties and challenging behaviour based near Brixton / Streatham in South West London.

You will be able to support and work with the young people to both give them an inclusive afterschool experience but also help to develop their independence.

You will be available to work all or some of the following shifts
1530 - 1830 Monday to Thursday
1100-1500 Monday and Wednesday
1700-2000 - Friday

These can be combined to make approx 30 hours per week

You should have a minimum of 6 months recent experience working with children with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour ideally within a similar afterschool or education setting

£9.00 PH + Holiday & Pension with the possible opportunity to move to a permanent contract with the project

5 years reference and DBS will be required before starting.
