I am seeking an area manager to join an established learning disabilities provider.
You will be responsible for overseeing two established residential settings on the outskirts of central Birmingham that provide care for adults with autism, learning disabilities and associated complex behaviours.
This is a full time opportunity which will require you to split your time between the two services, head office and attending meetings within outside agencies.
You will be responsible for the day to day management of two registered managers and their wider staff team.
Ensuring all care and support plans are up to date, services are audited, staff training is in place and that the services are adequately staffed will form part of your area manager role. You are likely to be involved in business and service development, HR management and developing and maintaining continued relationships with external, professional agencies.
This is an ideal opportunity for a driven registered manager who has some multi-site management experience and is looking for their next role, or a skilled area manager who wants a smaller number of homes within close proximity.
To be considered for this role, you must:
* Demonstrate a proven background within the adult's learning disabilities sector
* Have held successful registration with CQC, secured a good reputation and achieved good or outstanding ratings
* Hold a relevant care management qualification
* Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle
