On behalf of an amazing charitable provider, I am seeking an ASSISTANT MANAGER to work within their Community hub/day centre in North Shropshire.
You will be employed on a full time basis, working Monday to Friday, supporting adults with a range of needs, including learning disabilities, physical disabilities, older adults and adults with a dementia diagnosis.
This is a new role which requires you to work alongside the service manager and established team of support staff.
You will be a committed to exceptional care and support within a community setting and play a key role in the development of day opportunities.
You will engage with adults in the local community, supporting them to engage in meaningful ways, developing their independence and life skills.
It is the aim of the service to enable the people you support to live a fulfilling and independent lifestyle. From time to time you will be required to support with personal care, complete all relevant paperwork and liaise effectively with external agencies.
To be considered for this exciting role, you must:
* Level 3 in health and social care
* Demonstrate experience of supporting adults with learning disabilities, complex needs, older adults and dementia
* Hold a full UK driving licence and access to my own vehicle
