Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Day Care Assistant to work in a lovely Care Home for Elderly people in Winchester.

Main Duties
You will be caring for elderly residents, some who have dementia, helping them in the daily routines and activities. This will include feeding, personal care, changing and bathing/showering. You will be working in a friendly and experienced team.

Contract
Hourly Rate: £8.21 per hour. If you have a Level 2 or 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care a higher pay rate is negotiable.

Hours: 3/4 days per week, 12 hour shifts from 7.30am- 7.30pm. (1 hour break) You will work every other weekend.

Qualifying Candidates
- NVQ Level 2/3 is highly desirable
- It would be ideal if you have access to your own mode of transport as the nearest bus stop is a mile away
