Care Assistant - Wake In Nights

3-4 Nights a week.

Monday - Thursday

Here at BS Social Care, we're looking for a reliable and passionate person to help support a lovely service here in Llanelli, Tumbles.
Your role as a care assistant would involve lone working, looking after 3 residents through the night who are deaf or have hearing impediments.
Only 1 man needs support therefore it will consist of helping him into bed, making him coffee, showering, spending some quality time with him. This service user is known to have falls therefore first aid training is required.
Sign Language is not essential!

What we are looking for:

• Manual Handling Training
• First Aid Training
• Good communication skills
• DBS online would be ideal

Successful candidates will have great communication, organisational and interpersonal skills as well as initiative to help the amazing teams of staff in this service. They will also need to be patient and caring. Candidates must be open, honest, transparent and recognise individual needs.
You will be provided with a full induction to this role.
