Job title: Children`s Support Worker
Location: West Midlands
Pay rate: Competitive
Contract Type: Temporary / Part Time
An exciting opportunity has arisen to offer vital support to young people in residential care in the West Midlands Area.
You will be committed to a genuine vocation to have a positive impact in young people`s lives. The team works very hard to make sure the young people are equipped with the life skills needed to lead successful and independent lives.


What the role involves:
- To ensure you always follow the safeguarding and child protection policy and procedure
-To provide advice, assistance, and support the children and young people in your care
-To act as an appropriate role model to achieve their potential
-Supporting children/young people with challenging behaviour and adopting de-escalation techniques
-Ensuring each Child / Young Persons` care plan is followed and amended as appropriate to reflect their changing needs

You must have:
-Care experience (6 months minimum)
-Level 3 Care qualification
-DBS update service (Desirable)
-Good written and verbal communication skills
-Clean driving license
