Job Description

If so, I have the perfect opportunity for you to join a recognised provider as their new deputy manager within their small residential care service in WALSALL!

In collaboration with a recognised and leading local provider of care and support, who are dedicated to promoting independence, inclusion, and well-being, I am seeking a deputy manager to join their good rated residential home.

As their new Deputy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving their vision forward. Working closely with the Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care and support is provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Manager to develop and implement strategic plans for service delivery and improvement.
  • Lead, motivate, and inspire a team of dedicated support staff, fostering a culture of excellence, compassion, and continuous learning.
  • Promote person-centred approaches, ensuring the individual needs and preferences of our service users are at the heart of everything we do.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders, including families, local authorities, and healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor service performance, maintain accurate records, and implement quality assurance measures to drive continuous improvement.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within social care services. Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and empower a diverse team.
  • Level 3 in health and social care
  • Strong understanding of person-centred approaches and the ability to advocate for the rights and well-being of individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry best practices.
