Job Description

Be the difference and grow in your career as a Domiciliary Care Co-ordinator!

Are you looking for an opportunity to be truly valued in home care?

We`re looking for an experienced care co-ordinator to help us develop and grow an independent service. We pride ourselves on being different to most home care services, we care about the little things! It`s not just about providing excellent health care, it`s about making sure that people are looked after holistically - we pride ourselves on being independent; we encourage a relaxed atmosphere and truly believe care and good health flow together to create positive life experiences. We might not be the largest service but we`re proud of the fact we`re one of the best!

You will be enthusiastic about care, it doesn`t matter if you`re helping people in the short-term, long-term, palliative or respite; it`s all about making people feel valued and providing the best level of care possible. You`ll have had experience as a care co-ordinator before, where you`ll have had experience organising rotas, liaising with different agencies (Social Workers, Nurses, Doctors). You`ll know how to co-ordinate care plans and deal with people, of course it goes without saying you`ll be a good team player, honest and ready to learn from your mistakes (we all make them - it`s how you deal with them that`s important to us!)

We`re looking for someone that is happy to be hands-on, our registered manager and business owner still go out and meet service users if they need to, we hope you feel the same! If you have a level 3 qualification that would be great, but don`t worry if not, we`ll make sure you get it when you`re with us, and if you want to carry on and get your level 5 afterwards, we`ll help you get it. We consistently put our staff on courses that they think will help them day-to-day; maybe it`s a `train the trainer` course, maybe it`s a computer systems course. Just maybe it`s a spa break or reservations at a nice restaurant ... you just need to be doing a great job to get rewarded with those!

The benefits that you`ll receive working with us (aside from the great team and atmosphere) are:

- £20,000 - £24,000
- Enhanced pay if you cover on-call
- Employee of the month bonus
- Opportunity for progression as we build the business
- On-going support and training
- Childcare vouchers
- Refer a friend scheme
- 28 days holiday

If you're looking for an opportunity to develop and work with a great people-centric service get in touch with Dan on 0117 922 1130, e-mail daniel.armour @ bssocialcare.co.uk or click on Apply Now!
