Job Description

A new opportunity has become available for one of our Clients' that works for the Government. The Client is looking for an Executive Officer/ London office that works closely with ministers and is looking for someone who has a passion for writing to help deliver an excellent service for our customers. The Executive Officer should be able to deliver high quality correspondence in a fast-paced environment, the ability to work well with stakeholders and customers across the department and able to adapt to meet the needs of our ministers.
The pay rate will be £13.89 an hour, this will be a temporary assignment for approximately 3 months (end of March), Monday - Friday, 09:00- 17:00 (In the beginning you will need to work from the office (London based), and depending on different factors you can work from home afterwards).


Key duties and responsibilities:

Successful candidates will be expected to:

o Take responsibility for drafting high quality, signature ready responses to Private Office/ministerial correspondence
o Work well to support the team, sharing experiences and best practice and working together to effectively achieve our goals.
o Work effectively to deliver on time, in a fast paced and adaptable environment
o Manage their workload effectively, being flexible to support other ministerial portfolios where necessary.
o Work closely and establish close relationships with policy and Private Office stakeholders to ensure that they get the information that you need when they need it.
o Be confident to chase for information and/or updates from stakeholders where necessary
o Support the wider team by logging incoming correspondence and closing outgoing correspondence where necessary.
o Work flexibly, primarily within the team but at particular times also across the wider division
