A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a local charity provider with over 150 years` experience. This provider offers safe, secure, affordable, and well-maintained independent living accommodation, residential care and extra care housing for adults in their older age.

My client is looking for a part-time Extra Care/Domiciliary Care Registered Manager working 21 hours per week to manage our Extra Care Scheme/Registered Domiciliary Service. The service is housing with domiciliary care providing 21 flats for older people with support and care needs. The post holder will be responsible for the efficient day to day running of the scheme and ensuring all residents get the correct caring, responsive and effective services they need to keep them independent. This role also promotes a domiciliary care service to our independent living scheme residents across the Trust.

Key responsibilities:

To manage Extra Care Scheme for older people and the provision of support and care services to residents.
To be a CQC Registered Manager for the Domiciliary care provision
To manage the chargeable in-house Domiciliary Care service available to our sheltered housing residents.
To provide and lead a team with a person-centred approach and to keep clients safe and cared for at all times.
Day to Day running of the service as well as rotas and staff supervisions

To be considered for this role then you must have experience working with an elderly care group, leading a team, happy to take CQC registration or have already been registered with CQC. Good knowledge of CQC care standards and current and forthcoming care / safeguarding legislation to ensure statutory compliance. An NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care and the want to complete your NVQ level 5 in Leadership and Management.

For your hard work and commitment, you will be paid £31,000 per annum which will be pro rota on 21 hours. You will also get 31 days holiday and a very attractive pension and health care package.
